Wolmido Island is located 1 km off the Incheon coast, with a name that describes an island shape resembling the tail of a half-moon. Due to its proximity to Seoul, many people come to visit this island during weekends. It is popular for its numerous cafes and seafood restaurants that overlook the West Sea. The island has several interesting sights such a Culture Street, the Doodle Pillar, Arts Square and many other squares that feature street performers and artists. You can also visit Play Hill, the island’s theme park, or take a boat cruise that goes around the island.
