Korean Folk Village was created with a view to present Korean culture to local and international tourists. The Korean Folk Village features a collection of folk customs from Korean culture that have been passed down over generations. The Joseon period (1392 to 1910) village in Korean Folk Village is composed of real houses relocated and reconstructed from different parts of the country, thus re-enacting the culture of daily life through four seasons based on thorough historical verification and consultation. Presenting experience-style outdoor exhibitions, crafts of daily life continued through traditional methods, and seasonal customs marked by solar terms.
